Then goes on to lose the plot in a Delhi-rious post, trying to piece together the work of commercial partners and local NGOs.

Pants to Poverty founder Ben is currently in India, travelling the country to meet up with factory workers and managers, farmers, local NGOs and trade operators, hoping to gain some understanding of local contraints and see how Pants to Poverty can improve transparency, efficiency and impact on the ground.
Blogging exclusively for New Consumer, Ben describes his first impressions and gives us the lowdown on fair trade in India. First entry here -
Pants to Poverty Paris
Let us introduce ourselves. We are two International Law students at Nanterre university in Paris and were soooooo seduced by the Pants to Poverty concept that we decided to test it on our environmentally-humanitarian-law loving friends….Despite the delays in the postal service (hmm yes! long story) we got the pants JUST IN TIME to launch Pants to Poverty Paris successfully at the Pink&Punk students night on 28th February.
The theme allowed us to just walk around the club with our pink leggings and pants!! But let us tell you that the highlight of the evening was our model…… Salvador (yes, the square guy with no legs). He was looking so hot wearing just his pants that he was at the starting point of many interesting, sometimes rather challenging and passionate debates. We CANNOT wait for the next event - VIVE Pants to Poverty Pariiiis !! A bientôt!
